Narratives of Women of Color in Greater Boston

April & May 2025

A Community Performance Series Showcasing Local Stories Through Music

This spring, Narratives of Women of Color in Greater Boston will bring music, poetry, dance, and video together to celebrate the voices and histories of women of color in Boston. This community-centered performance series features a collective of local composers from diverse cultural backgrounds, each creating new works inspired by personal stories, historical documents, letters, poems, scripts, journals, and quotes gathered from community members in Chinatown, Roxbury, Dorchester, Cambridge, Roslindale, Fenway, and beyond.
